Testimony about the sermon you are about to listen

When I was preparing notes for this sermon I had a battle within my mind on whether or not to include the part on dangers of alcoholism. “No one in the congregation drinks and so why should I talk about this?” the though persisted. Well, I finally decided I will talk about it for  merely giving an illustration  for the thought I wanted to convey. After the church service, I was told there was a visitor in the audience; the person who invited him told me that he is nicknamed “Double yoke” in his neighbourhood and he is so heavy on drinking! Quite amazing how God works and also how the Devil is present to try to sift our minds away from what the Spirit is speaking.
