TESTIMONY by Bro Jesse Nzima

We had a two-days revival service in Kapiri Mposhi, in Central Province of Zambia. We had a wonderful time and the Lord visited us mightily. Bro Phiri was preaching. As the preaching was going on (this was on Saturday, 20^th July 2024), my thoughts drifted to the farm where I keep goats. Earlier that day I had been informed that one goats was not doing well. Whilst listening to the sermon I went down memory lane, thinking about how I only started with one goat but I now have eight. I pondered on challenges I experienced to set up the project, especially since my family had no experience with goat-rearing and some neighbours mocked us, saying we would never succeed. Just then, Brother Phiri made a point about the testing of faith, explaining that it can be tested in three ways: delay, attention to detail, and distractions. As he discussed the first point, it felt like he was reading my mind! He then turned, looked at me and called me out saying, “Brother Nzima, didn’t you start with one goat?” At that moment I got surprised! I was filled with both excitement and deep sense of confirmation that the Lord is with us! He knows my name and even cares for such things as the animals I posess. He knew what I was thinking. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
